Sebring X Mischief Night
1 year old Chestnut Colt
Sire: Sebring Dam: Mischief Night
Sebring is a sire of the highest quality. He is the sire of 51 individual Stakes winners including Group 1 winners Dissident, Criterion, Lucky Bubbles, Egg Tart and Amphitrite. Sebring produces tough, sound colts that we all look for when purchasing a racehorse. A proven stallion he has two Champion first crop sons standing commercially at stud. A versatile stallion he has produced Golden Slipper performers and Guineas, Derby and Oaks winners along with Magic Millions 2YO performers, Horse of the Year, International Group 1 winners and even a place getter in the Melbourne Cup.
The Dam of this colt is Mischief Night who is a daughter of Shamardal from the Group 3 winning Flying Spur mare in November Flight. This makes Mischief Night a half-sister to Group 2 winning sprinter Pierata ($2,690,000) and Group 3 winning juvenile Ashokan. This family is littered with Group winners and gallopers that have earned plenty of prize money for their connections.
“…Lot 805 a beautiful snappy Sebring colt out of a Shamardal mare and a half to good horses Pierata and Ashokan. This is a lovely sprinter / miler type family. This Sebring reminds me of Extreme Choice, he is a medium sized horse, beautifully balanced, lovely walking horse, knitted up knees, clean fetlocks with the big sprinter hindquarter on him. I love the way he walks and the proportions of the horse. He is pretty sparky as you can see but these are the kind of horses I really love to train. I think he will go early and be a 2yo and a 3yo. I think he was well purchased given the heat of the recent Magic Millions sale. I just love him...” Mick Price
The colt was purchased for $210,000 plus GST.
